  • Advocate for human rights especially the right to health, education and full recognition of minority persons and Marginalized individuals in Uganda
  • Advocate and implement all programs focusing on sustainable development
  • Train and empower the target key populations in areas of health in Uganda
  • Programs and advocacy to improve the welfare and standards of living for marginalized persons in Uganda
  • Develop and implement strategies for controlling and preventing HIV/AIDs and other sexually transmitted diseases among key populations in Uganda.

Through the strength of Marginalized individuals in Uganda and the support of allies, we can continue to advance our mission to create a more inclusive Uganda.

Who We Serve

What are the key populations?

At Key Populations Uganda, we serve a wide-ranging group of minority groups and marginalized communities within Uganda who are particularly vulnerable to HIV and lack adequate access to services, including:

  • Marginalized individuals
  • Marginalized male refugees from other African countries
  • Male sex workers

Our mission is to serve these key populations in the country. We believe that empowering and uplifting these communities is the key to ensuring they can live healthy, productive lives and be fully contributing members of society. These individuals are not only key to our mission, but also the key to the future success and health of all Uganda.
